Synopsis :
This is the story of Kartik, a young Management Graduate aspiring to settle in USA. Discouraged by his parents who are worried about his safety after 9/11 incident, he joins NGO involved in tribal development in a remote area. After working in the field area for five years Kartik is all set to leave for Mumbai, to join a lucrative job in the corporate sector as desired by his father. A tribal boy Rava, who considers Kartik as his mentor, suddenly disappears. Kartik's efforts to search for Rava are interwoven with pleasant and bitter memories of working with tribal youths .

The story unfolds with Kartik's journey of introspection, and presents before the viewers the values, philosophy and processes involved in the Antyodaya Movement.

About the Director :Sumitra Bhave an alumni of Tata Institute of Social Sciences Mumbai worked as a social work professor and later as a social scientist turned to film making. Sunil Sukhatankar a trained Filmmaker from Film and Television Institute of India 1985.

Together they have 10 feature films, 40 short films 5 telefilms and 2 TV serials to their credit. Their films have received 3 International, 6 National Awards.
